Stuart advises corporate and insurer clients in responding to cyber incidents. He has worked with a number of companies in the Energy, Infrastructure, Financial Services and Technology sectors to ensure compliance with their security and reporting obligations under relevant data protection legislation, FCA regulation and under the recently implemented Network and Information Systems regime. Stuart has significant experience of advising on cross border breaches. He recently helped a multinational financial services firm manage the response to a complex security incident, including notifying several hundred individuals and corporate clients in over 60 jurisdictions and dealing with potential disputes from those notified. Stuart also specialises in resolving disputes arising out of large scale and technically complex IT projects for both suppliers and users of technology,. He is experienced in litigation, arbitration, mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution, having advised on one of the UK’s largest ever technology arbitrations.
