Romanus Otte is Editor in Chief and Managing Director at Business Insider Deutschland GmbH. Since 2004, he has been holding key roles at Axel Springer in transforming Germany’s biggest newspaper publisher into Europe’s a leading digital publisher. He drove digitisation on the editorial, product and business side. Romanus Otte helped to transform the newspaper group WELT into an innovative digital news brand and introduced the first paid model in German national media. Before that, he was among others Head of the Political Department and Head of the News Department at Financial Times Deutschland.
