Keiko Hamada

Executive Editor-in-Chief of Business Insider Japan Keiko Hamada joined the Asahi Shinbunm in 1989, and has been a member of the editorial staff of AERA. As a reporter, she focuses on women's lives and workplace issues, as well as international news. She covered the 9/11 terrorist attacks in the U.S., the Iraq war and other incidents in the U.S. She became deputy chief editor of AERA in 2004. After serving as deputy editor, she became AERA's first female editor-in-chief.

She has been Editor-in-Chief of Business Insider Japan since April 2017.
