Jonathan Carrier

Jonathan Carrier has accumulated vast experience in roles with Jaguar Land Rover, McLaren, Mazda, Fiat and RocketSpace adding unrivalled expertise to AeroMobil’s innovation leadership. He is Vice-President of Corporate Development at AeroMobil. Most recently, Jonathan spent almost seven years at Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), where he held various senior management and global strategy roles, where he established Jaguar’s global long-term product strategy & positioning of the current range of new Jaguar vehicles, including the Jaguar F-PACE – the fastest selling Jaguar ever – and the initial planning for the electric Jaguar I-PACE. Jonathan was responsible for open innovation, venture building and early-stage investment in startups, including deal structuring at seed and Series A. With P&L responsibility he was responsible for day-to-day operations, investment committee as well as the strategic and operational interface with the JLR CEO and board. At InMotion Ventures he established a range of ventures around the globe including India, China, USA and Europe across diverse technology areas including mobility-as-a-service, connected car, autonomous systems and electrification resulting in the creation of successful startups such as Sheprd, Liquid, Carpe, Dovu and Synaptiv which have all received venture funding. Prior to joining AeroMobil Jonathan established the corporate innovation practice for RocketSpace, a Silicon Valley based tech-hub that provides speed and direction to the world’s top tech startups and corporate innovators to help bring the future to market.
