Gisbert Rühl

Gisbert Rühl, who already held a number of management positions in industry and consulting, joined the Management Board of Klöckner & Co as CFO in 2005. Since 2009 he has been Chairman of the Board. Gisbert is currently driving forward Klöckner & Co’s digital transformation and the development of an open industry platform in which the company plays a pioneering role within the steel industry.

As of the close of the Annual General Meeting in May 2021, Gisbert Rühl will leave Klöckner & Co to concentrate on entrepreneurial activities in the field of B2B platforms and VC funds. In connection with the planned separation of the digital platform XOM Materials from Klöckner & Co he will take over the position of Chairman of the respective Supervisory Board.
