He has been in charge of the retail banking business since July 2017. Mr Tomczuk has 18 years of experience in the banking sector. For 10 years now he has been managing distribution networks in the areas of business and retail banking. Marek Tomczuk started his career in Bank Handlowy w Warszawie SA, in the field of corporate banking, where he worked as Regional Transactional and Investment Banking Sales Director and afterwards, in the Retail Banking Division - as CitiBusiness Network Director. He later took the position of Sales Director in the SME segment of Bank DNB Nord, a member of the DNB Group - Norway's largest financial group. As Department Director in Kredyt Bank SA (KBC Group) is was responsible for building independent business line and management of SME sales network. He belonged to a core group of managers working on merger of Kredyt Bank and Bank Zachodni WBK SA, in which he took a post of head of Retail Macro-Region.. Marek Tomczuk fulfills suitability requirements determined in art. 22aa of Banking Law Act.
